Everything Sacred

Thoughts

There are some people whose faith makes others deeply moved. The following quote by Bo Lozoff explains it extremely well. These kind of people that inspire others, “They go into the station and see a Precious Child of God taking their Divine Credit Card for the Sacred Gas, and they don’t hide it from that person taking the credit card! Their whole presence says, “It’s all equally sacred.” Getting gas, praying in church, buying a bagel, are all the same Mysterious Miracle.”

Living A Sacred Life

For something to be sacred, it means connected with God. I invite you to come along with me to live a life where everything is sacred. Live a life where you know deep down that God is holding your every moment in His hands, that they don’t escape Him, not your walk from your car to your house, not your silent moment between waking up and checking your phone, not your hums while doing the dishes, or the long nights of what seems like endless work. They make memory before Him, and they all come together in Him.

Prayer

God, thank you for the gift of being able to live this life. I pray that you help me actually live it rather than just survive it. I don’t want to be in such a hurry that I accidentally miss you as I run pass you. Please make yourself impossible to miss, I want to see you. I want to hear you. I want to be near you. Let me taste the sweetness of you, let me feel the familiar feeling of my home within your heart, let me smell the fresh air that you are, the hope of my lungs.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
