Thursday Motivation

Welcome to Thursday Motivation!!! Today’s verse of the is the following: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 .

Today what has been resonating is the phrase “Be Still”. Let God take care of it. I know it’s hard not to focus on mistakes, on the unsettling times, but leave your anxieties to God. Instead focus on the wonderful plans that he has for your life. Guess what??? (My favorite phrase) He has many!!! Leave all of your problems to Jesus, let him comfort you and allow him to carry your burdens. .

Practice closing your eyes for a few seconds and find something to thank God for about your business, your family, YOU …. When you sit back just for a second, away from the hustle and bustle of the day, and take your favorite book to just write the things you are thankful for, where you are now, 🆚 where you were. Even if you feel that you’ve had better years in your business, there is something that you can be grateful for now that should ignite an “I am moving forward” kind of attitude. .

I am also speaking to those that have lost their drive to continue on the owning your business path. Maybe it is just time to go back to the drawing ✍️ board, meaning your notebook 📒 or napkin 😂 (how I started) and your dreams might just need a little direction, a little polishing. . “Be Still” – God is working behind the scenes. He has not forgotten about you. .

Takeaway? Be thankful and make your requests known to God. Speak to him, let him know that you need him. Allow him to make your burdens easier to bear. Sometimes we are carrying things not meant to be carried by us, but because we don’t allow God to enter, to penetrate our souls, we bring more strife than he ever planned for us. .

God I pray today that you make the hearts of my brothers and sisters receptive to your teaching and to your love. May they experience a peace that transcends all understanding. In Jesus name. 🌿
