Today we are going to talk about change; about the Lord turning the impossible to possible with His power; about things in our lives shifting unexpectedly for the good. The Lord promises this to us in the book of Isaiah, chapter 43 verse 19 which declares, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
We can all agree that there have been moments in our lives where we have felt that we were at a standstill. Those are moments where we feel that God is silent and that absolutely nothing is going to change. In those moments is where our beloved Father loves to surprise us and say (just like in Isaiah 43:19), “BEHOLD!“. He catches our attention right when we thought He had forgotten us and shows us a new path. He shows us that He has made a way. The impossible is now made possible. There is now a clear path in the dark wilderness and rivers in the dry desert. There is now a change.
I come to remind you that wherever you find yourself in this moment: battling depression, anxiety, thoughts of loneliness, identity confusion, low self-esteem, financial struggles, and/or grief, know that this is not your permanent position. The Lord will re-position you and exclaim into your ear, “Behold!”; He will show you the way. You will see the change. Keep holding on.
